The entrée was simply a bowl of the dish of spaghetti, red onion, savoy cabbage, and sweet Italian sausage left over from two nights before, heated and sprinkled with some chopped parsley from Stokes Farm, so I’m only uploading an image of the dessert cheese course.
-
‘Brebis Blanc’ soft sheep cheese from 3-Corner Field Farm, and some ‘Barden Blue’ from Consider Bardwell, served with a bosc pear from Troncillito Farms, and slices of a loaf of fresh ‘trucio’ from Sullivan Street Bakery
- the wine was a really, really good Austrian (Wagram) white, Wimmer-Czerny Roter Veltliner 2014 (made from Roter Veltliner grapes, which are not to be confused with Grüner Veltliner)
- the music was Sviatoslav Richter, Kiril Kondrashin, and the London Symphony Orchestra performing Liszt’s two piano concertos
