{"id":7214,"date":"2016-02-25T06:40:16","date_gmt":"2016-02-25T06:40:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=7214"},"modified":"2016-02-25T06:40:16","modified_gmt":"2016-02-25T06:40:16","slug":"breaded-swordfish-stone-crop-rapini-leek-tomato-thyme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=7214","title":{"rendered":"breaded swordfish, stone crop; leek, tomato, thyme; rapini"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/swordfish_rapini_leek_and_tomato.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-7217\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7217\" src=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/swordfish_rapini_leek_and_tomato.jpg\" alt=\"swordfish_rapini_leek_and_tomato\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>somethings old and somethings new<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The old was the breaded swordfish, new was the stonecrop; old was the cherry tomatoes, new was the addition of leeks; old was the rapini, new was having it in February.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>one\u00a0swordfish steak (off of Scott Rucky\u2019s\u00a0fishing vessel, \u2018Dakota\u2019, out of East Islip, Long Island, from American Seafood Company in the Union Square Greenmarket),\u00a0cut into two pieces, marinated briefly in a mixture of olive oil and\u00a0fresh oregano from Stokes Farm, then drained well\u00a0and covered with a coating of dried homemade bread crumbs, pan-grilled\u00a0for about 4-5 minutes on each side, removed, salted, sprinkled with a little lemon juice, some beautiful stone crop (a succulent, aka orpine, aka sedum, and\u00a0apparently it&#8217;s also good for creating green roofs) from Lani&#8217;s Farm scattered on and to\u00a0the side, fish and herb both drizzled with olive oil before serving<\/li>\n<li>one medium leek from\u00a0S.S. &amp; O.
