{"id":666,"date":"2010-05-02T15:11:51","date_gmt":"2010-05-02T19:11:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.com\/?p=666"},"modified":"2010-05-02T15:11:51","modified_gmt":"2010-05-02T19:11:51","slug":"dinner-april-13-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=666","title":{"rendered":"dinner, April 13, 2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/food2.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/kale_Bodhitree_Farm.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-721\" title=\"kale_Bodhitree_Farm\" src=\"http:\/\/food2.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/05\/kale_Bodhitree_Farm.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"399\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Little more than a week after I had come upon <a href=\"http:\/\/www.straussbrands.com\/\">Strauss Brothers<\/a> veal chops, which we had enjoyed in <a href=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.com\/2010\/04\/30\/dinner-april-3-2010\/\">this<\/a> meal, I discovered that the same excellent producers also supplied tasty young lamb. \u00a0 I included four of their small rib chops in this dinner.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>lamb chops, pan-grilled and finished with oil, thyme and a sprinkle of lemon, from Strauss Brothers, purchased at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.edengourmet.com\/\">Garden of Eden<\/a>;\u00a0 accompanied by some kale from Bodhitree Farm at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cenyc.org\/unionsquaregreenmarket\">Union Square  Greenmarket<\/a>, sauteed in a bit of oil which had first warmed two lightly-bruised whole garlic cloves;\u00a0 and French Fingerlings from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.norwichmeadowsfarm.com\/\">Norwich Meadows Farms<\/a>, oven-roasted with rosemary leaves<\/li>\n<li>shelled almonds<\/li>\n<li>wine:\u00a0 a medium French red, from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Roussillon\">Roussillon<\/a>,\u00a0  Le Vignes de Bila-Haut, C\u00f4tes du Roussillon Villages 2008, M.
