Seafood, marinated for about half an hour in lemon juice, olive oil, sliced fresh garlic from Lucky Dog Organic, stems of fresh oregano from Lani\u2019s Farm, and freshly-ground black pepper, drained and pan-grilled for a few minutes, finished with lemon juice, olive oil, and a mixture of more fresh oregano, now chopped, and parsley from Stokes Farm [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.marthastewart.com\/338824\/grilled-striped-bass\">the basic recipe<\/a> is Martha Stewart&#8217;s]<\/li>\n<li>the vegetable was a generous serving of minutina from Norwich Meadows Farm, wilted in medium-hot olive oil in which some sliced fresh garlic from Lucky Dog Organic had [almost]\u00a0begun\u00a0to brown<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/bowl_of_cherries.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4650\" src=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/07\/bowl_of_cherries.jpg\" alt=\"bowl_of_cherries\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The dark sweet cherries were from Healthway Farms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The wine, for\u00a0the first two courses, was a New York white from the Finger\u00a0Lakes, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chelseawinevault.com\/shop-by\/this-month-s-top-10\/brooklyn-winery-stainless-steel-aged-chardonnay-finger-lakes-2013\">Brooklyn Winery Chardonnay \u00a02013<\/a><\/li>\n<li>the music was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mApBD-b4csg\">Johann Nepomuk Hummel&#8217;s Piano Sonata No. 2 in E-flat major, played by Hae-Won Chang<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>the pasta salad was some spaghettini and snow peas from a dinner of a few days ago, served at\u00a0room temperature, this time\u00a0accompanied by some baby greens from Lani&#8217;s Farm The entr\u00e9e was a fillet of striped bass from P.E. &amp; D.D.
