{"id":3966,"date":"2015-04-08T17:38:45","date_gmt":"2015-04-08T17:38:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=3966"},"modified":"2015-04-08T17:38:45","modified_gmt":"2015-04-08T17:38:45","slug":"triangolo-di-asparagi-with-tomato-garlic-onion-tops","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=3966","title":{"rendered":"triangolo di asparagi with tomato, garlic, onion tops"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/asparagus_ravioli_tomato_onion_tops.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3968\" src=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/asparagus_ravioli_tomato_onion_tops.jpg\" alt=\"asparagus_ravioli_tomato_onion_tops\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While I was inside Eataly to pick up some bread yesterday afternoon,\u00a0I passed the shop-made fresh pasta showcase where\u00a0I got carried away with the the shape of this pasta and the sign describing the seasonal filling (well, <em>anticipating<\/em> the season just a bit) of asparagus. \u00a0The rest of the filling was simply\u00a0ricotta and goat cheese, so I knew I&#8217;d be able to &#8216;sauce&#8217; it with the cherry tomatoes remaining on hand, along with more of my new infatuation, <a href=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/2015\/04\/08\/scallops-with-onion-tops-tomato-with-organo-kale\/\">onion tops<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>asparagus, ricotta and goat cheese-filled\u00a0<em>triangolo di asparagi<\/em>, tossed with\u00a0Maine cherry \u2018cocktail\u2019 tomatoes from Whole Foods, slightly-saut\u00e9ed with sliced garlic and freshly-ground black pepper, the bowls scattered with chopped\u00a0onion (yellow onion) tops from Phillips Farm<\/li>\n<li>the wine was a white Italian, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.piedmontwineproject.com\/en\/italian-wines\/asinel-piemonte-doc\/\">Piedmont Wine Project Asinel Bianco 2013<\/a>\u00a0from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chelseawinevault.com\/\">Chelsea Wine Vault<\/a><\/li>\n<li>the music was some symphonies of J.C.
