{"id":2875,"date":"2014-12-19T23:40:32","date_gmt":"2014-12-19T23:40:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=2875"},"modified":"2014-12-19T23:40:32","modified_gmt":"2014-12-19T23:40:32","slug":"linguine-alle-vongole-in-bianco-linguine-clams","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=2875","title":{"rendered":"linguine alle Vongole in Bianco (linguine, clams)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/linguine_con_vongole.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2892\" src=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/linguine_con_vongole.jpg\" alt=\"linguine_con_vongole\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are so many ways to make this dish, it hardly merits mentioning\u00a0any of my own, and I have a number of variations myself, but this is what I did on this one night. \u00a0I bought the shellfish\u00a0rather than fish when I was at the greenmarket on Monday because that night I was going to have to put together something <a href=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/2014\/12\/09\/guinea-fowl-chestnut-stuffing-sweet-potatoes-kale\/\">using leftover\u00a0Guinea fowl<\/a>,\u00a0but\u00a0I wanted to have\u00a0some kind of seafood\u00a0the next day (which was not a Greenmarket day) and I knew the clams would still be alive and fine then.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Afeltra linguine tossed in a large pot in which two garlic cloves from S.S.&amp;O. Farm, minced, and one crushed peperoncino had been heated in some olive oil before being joined by little neck clams from P.E. &amp; D.D.
