{"id":2839,"date":"2014-12-14T20:25:20","date_gmt":"2014-12-14T20:25:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=2839"},"modified":"2014-12-14T20:25:20","modified_gmt":"2014-12-14T20:25:20","slug":"haddock-on-sage-and-garlic-potatoes-roasted-tatsoi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=2839","title":{"rendered":"haddock on sage and garlic potatoes, roasted; tatsoi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/baked_haddock_potatoes_tatsoi.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2846\" src=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/baked_haddock_potatoes_tatsoi.jpg\" alt=\"baked_haddock_potatoes_tatsoi\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve certainly prepared haddock before, but apparently\u00a0never entered a meal which included the fish into the Food Blog. \u00a0It&#8217;s quite similar to cod in flavor and texture, and so quite delicious (yet somewhat less expensive), so it was easy to think of a dish which involved potatoes sliced thinly and baked with a savory herb. \u00a0This recipe I used was inspired by one in Mark Bittman&#8217;s discussion of how to cook <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2011\/04\/03\/magazine\/mag-03Eat-t.html?_r=0\">white fish fillets<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a mix, four each, of Reba potatoes from Garden of Spices Farm and\u00a0German Butterball potatoes from Mountain Sweet Berry Farm (I was improvising\u00a0from\u00a0what I found in the larder), washed, but not peeled, sliced thinly, tossed with olive oil, salt and pepper, spread onto an oven dish and roasted at 425\u00ba for about 25 minutes (when they have begun to brown), sprinkled with sage and garlic, both from S. &amp; S.O. Farms, both\u00a0chopped, topped with a single\u00a0haddock fillet from P.E. &amp; D.D.
