Although I was very, very careful on Sunday, this time I set a record: 3 out of the 6 refused to stay in place. I&#8217;ve just done a little research on line, but all I learned was that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/cooking.stackexchange.com\/questions\/6793\/why-do-yolks-break-so-easily-sometimes\">there doesn&#8217;t seem to be agreement<\/a> about the cause.<\/p>\n<p>But breakfast was, all of it, scrumptious.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>aside from the green (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theepochtimes.com\/this-is-new-york-john-stoltzfoos-an-amish-farmer-in-the-urban-jungle_679101.html\">John Stoltzfoos<\/a> says they&#8217;re green, even though in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fresheggsdaily.com\/2012\/02\/rainbow-of-egg-colors.html\">more official descriptions\u00a0<\/a>I always read &#8216;blue&#8217;) Millport Dairy Americauna chicken eggs, there was smoked bacon from the same Amish farm; ramps from\u00a0Lucky Dog Organic Farm; beautiful, really bitter young radicchio plants from Tamarack Hollow Farm; eight Backyard Farms Maine \u2018cocktail tomatoes\u2019 from Whole Foods Market; lovage from Two Guys from Woodbridge; a micro red mustard garnish, also from Two Guys from Woodbridge; and slices of a sourdough b\u00e2tard from She Wolf Bakery, very gently toasted<\/li>\n<li>the music was that of the birds in our garden, beyond the open breakfast room window; they were joined inside by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arkivmusic.com\/classical\/Drilldown?name_id1=26063&amp;name_role1=2&amp;bcorder=2&amp;name_id=8078&amp;name_role=1\">Messiaen, his &#8216;Catalogue d&#8217;oiseaux&#8217; and his &#8216;La Fauvette&#8217;, both performed by Anatol Ugorski<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It looks a bit unkempt, and perhaps a bit over the top.
