arugula; roast squash"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15508\" src=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/01\/swordfish_squash_arugula.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>There were no smaller pieces, like those I would usually buy, inside the fisherman&#8217;s bucket when I stopped by yesterday, but since the swordfish looked so good (and Warren indicated it was a cut close to the belly), and the price was also very good, I didn&#8217;t feel guilty about coming home with a pound and a quarter of such goodness.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, that evening I\u00a0was able to prepare the steaks suitably and grill them\u00a0<em>\u00e0 point<\/em>, but then, unless you fall asleep in the middle of the process, it&#8217;s really hard to mess up a swordfish steak.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>two thick 10-ounce swordfish steaks off of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/articles.orlandosentinel.com\/2005-05-22\/news\/0505210024_1_find-the-fish-fresh-fishing-tackle\">Scott Rucky\u2019s\u00a0fishing vessel, \u2018Dakota<\/a>\u2019, from American Seafood Company in the Union Square Greenmarket, marinated for more than half an hour in a mixture of olive oil,\u00a0maybe half a teaspoon of super-pungent dried Sicilian oregano from Buon Italia, a small amount of\u00a0crushed\u00a0dried\u00a0<em>peperoncino Calabresi secchi<\/em>\u00a0from Buon Italia, and a chopped section\u00a0of a Japanese scallion from Norwich Meadows Farm, drained well, covered on both sides with a coating of homemade dried breadcrumbs, pan-grilled over medium-high heat for 5 minutes on each side, removed, seasoned with a little sea salt, a\u00a0little juice from a Whole Foods Market organic lemon squeezed on top,\u00a0garnished\u00a0with purple micro radish from Two Guys from Woodbridge [although they were\u00a0<em>not<\/em> drizzled with a little olive oil this time, out of consideration for thos beautiful crusty breadcrumbs, I think I really should have]<\/li>\n<li>one 5 or 6-inch &#8216;sugar dumpling&#8217;
