{"id":12142,"date":"2017-03-20T01:30:37","date_gmt":"2017-03-20T01:30:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=12142"},"modified":"2017-03-20T01:30:37","modified_gmt":"2017-03-20T01:30:37","slug":"breakfast-with-heinichen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/?p=12142","title":{"rendered":"breakfast with Heinichen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-12143\" src=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/03\/breakfast_Mar_19.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The Bach cantata we&#8217;d picked first didn&#8217;t quite have the zip we were looking for in our usual sacred early Sunday music, so we switched to\u00a0a Heinichen mass.<\/p>\n<p>I also introduced something fairly new to the usual Sunday egg formula, sorrel.<\/p>\n<p>Otherwise the ingredients, described pretty much willy-nilly, were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>six eggs and 4 slices of thick bacon from Millport Dairy Farm; 4\u00a0Backyard Farms Maine \u2018cocktail tomatoes\u2019 and some New York Rooftop\u00a0basil, both from Whole Foods; Greek olive oil, Tellicherry pepper; sea salt; one Japanese scallion from Norwich Meadows Farm; a little\u00a0dried\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sardissimo.com\/\">Itria-Sirissi<\/a>\u00a0chili,\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.zafferanodisardegna.it\/peperoncino.htm#PEPERONCINO INTERO ITRIA\">peperoncino di Sardegna intero<\/a><\/em>\u00a0from Buon Italia (mixed with the tomato and scallion); the fresh red sorrel from Two Guys from Woodbridge; a pinch of dark home-dried <a href=\"http:\/\/food.hoggardwagner.org\/2017\/02\/28\/the-habanada-pepper-fresh-and-dried-two-ways\/\">Habanada pepper<\/a> (on the eggs); a garnish of\u00a0red wasabi micro radish from two Guys from Woodbridge; and the toast was both\u00a0Bien Cuit \u2018Campagne\u2019 traditional sour dough, from Foragers Market, and Sullivan Street Bakery&#8217;s &#8216;Trucio&#8217;<\/li>\n<li>the music was\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.arkivmusic.com\/classical\/album.jsp?album_id=107614\">Johann David Heinichen&#8217;s Mass No. 9,\u00a0Hans-Christoph Rademann directing the\u00a0Dresden Baroque Orchestra and the Dresden Chamber Choir<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bach cantata we&#8217;d picked first didn&#8217;t quite have the zip we were looking for in our usual sacred early Sunday music, so we switched to\u00a0a Heinichen mass.
